知られざる中野沼袋氷川神社の魅力：願いが叶う三本松とパワースポット
Nakano Numabukuro Hikawa Shrine, located about 40 minutes from Tokyo Station, is known as one of Nakano Ward’s most powerful spiritual spots. It enshrines Susanoo-no-Mikoto, a deity believed to provide protection against misfortune and epidemics.
東京駅から約40分の場所にある「中野沼袋氷川神社」は、中野区屈指のパワースポットとして知られています。ここでは、厄除け・疫病除けのご利益があるとされる須佐之男命（スサノオノミコト）が祀られ、多くの参拝者が訪れます。
Within the shrine grounds, various types of omikuji (fortune slips) are available, so be sure to give one a try. The one I drew was “Kichi” (Good Fortune)!
境内には、さまざまなおみくじが用意されているので、ぜひ試してみてください。私が引いたのは「吉（KICHI）」でした！
One of the shrine’s most famous features is the “Three Wishing Pines.
” One tree stands tall with a slight curve on the left side of the main hall, while the other two are located on the right side and behind the temizuya (purification fountain).
Estimated to be around 650 years old, these ancient pines are believed to have existed since the shrine’s founding. It is said that if you reach out and touch the trees while making a wish, your wish will come true. Be sure to give it a try!
この神社で特に有名なのが「三本願い松」。
1本は社殿の左側にあり、高く伸びながら少しカーブを描いています。残りの2本は、社殿の右側と手水舎の裏に位置しています。
推定樹齢650年とも言われ、沼袋氷川神社が創建された当時から存在していたと考えられている貴重な松の木です。手を伸ばして松に触れながら願いを託すと、願いが叶うとされています。

Additionally, the shrine grounds feature a “Chikara Ishi” (Power Stone), which was historically used for strength competitions among young men. Those who successfully lifted the stone would engrave its weight and their names on it before dedicating it to the shrine. This provides a fascinating glimpse into the traditions of the past.
さらに、境内には「力石」もあります。これは、昔の若者たちが力比べに使った大石で、持ち上げることができた証として、重量や姓名が刻まれ奉納されたものです。歴史を感じながら、神社の雰囲気を楽しむことができます。
