The building was spared from war damage and remains almost exactly as it was when it was built, allowing visitors to take the time to appreciate the architectural techniques, materials, and designs of the time.

To access the public area, take the classic elevator to the second floor of the Meiji Yasuda Seimei Kan. The elevator, which retains the atmosphere of the early Showa period, has been carefully crafted down to the smallest detail, making you feel as if you have stepped back in time.
一般公開エリアへは、クラシックなエレベーターに乗って、明治安田生命館2階に行ってください。昭和初期の雰囲気を残したエレベーターは、細部まで丁寧に作り込まれており、まるでタイムスリップしたかのような気分を味わえます。
During the tour, visitors can use a free audio guide called “Meiji Seimeikan Attend Tour,” which talks about the fascinating history and architecture of the museum. In the area open to the public, visitors can see up close the massive marble-laden interior and classic designs of the early Showa period. In particular, the atrium in the entrance hall, the ceiling decorations, and the antique-style lighting are all points where one can feel the craftsmanship of the period.
