「観光地の夜は早い」と言うだけあり、川越も陽が落ちてくるとどんどんお店は閉まっていき、お土産購入はもちろん、ディナーのお店を探すのも一苦労…
そこで今回紹介したいのは、「和創菜と四季のすし風凛（furin）」です。
ここは、ランチはもちろんディナー営業もあるので、安心して川越の夜を楽しめます。
Although it is located on a popular street, its entrance is hard to find in passing, and even if you do find it, it is difficult to enter at first because it has only a narrow door and a small sign.
But don’t worry!
You can make reservations by phone or online, and the upscale but conscientious prices make it the perfect place for anniversaries and special occasions.
しかもこのレストランはかなりの隠れ家的存在…人気の通りに面してはいますが、その入口は通りすがりでは見つけにくく、見つけたとしても細い扉と小さな看板しかないので、まず入りにくい。
でも安心してください！
電話予約もネット予約もできますし、高級ではありますが良心的な価格のため、記念日や特別な日には最適な店舗です。
Fine dining at an old private house restaurant in a secluded area
After passing through a narrow alley where it is barely possible for one person to walk, you will see a narrow Japanese garden. In front of the Japanese garden, there is an entrance with a noren curtain.
As soon as you enter, a staff member will guide you to the restaurant. On the first floor, there are counter seats where you can eat while watching the chefs at work and seats with a view of the Japanese garden mentioned earlier, as well as a private room in the back.
The second floor is a quiet table seating area, and we chose to sit upstairs this time.
人一人歩くのが精一杯の細い路地を抜けると、細い日本庭園が見えてきます。日本庭園の手前に暖簾がかかった入口があります。
入るとすぐにスタッフが案内してくれます。一階には料理人の仕事を眺めながら食べられるカウンター席と、先ほどの日本庭園を眺められる席があり、奥には個室もありました。
2階は静かなテーブル席で、今回私たちは2階席を選びました。
This building was built in 1914, and the residential part of the former Tanakaya, which is designated as a tangible cultural property of Kawagoe City, has been remodeled, giving visitors a sense of the Taisho era.
こちらの建物は大正4年の建造で、川越市の有形文化財にも指定された旧田中屋の住居部分を改装していて、大正時代を感じることができます。
The menu was both course and a la carte, and courses could be ordered on the same day.
I enjoyed the variety of ingredients and dishes and the best sushi.
*I am allergic to alcohol, so they changed some dishes from the regular menu.
メニューはコースもアラカルトもあり、コースは当日でもオーダーすることができました。
いろいろな食材と料理、そして最高のお寿司を楽しむことができました。
※私はアルコールアレルギーのため、通常のメニューから変更してくれた料理もあります。
Many people go all the way to Kawagoe for sightseeing but return home early because of the “stores close early” characteristic of tourist areas. However, the quiet and atmospheric Kawagoe, where the tourists are gone, has an exciting, otherworldly atmosphere.
